Ground-mounted windbreak glass, It is a modular barrier system consisting of an aluminum carrier fixed to the ground and tempered glass panels that protects open areas such as cafes, restaurants, hotel terraces, balconies and gardens from wind, dust and noise. It is mounted directly to the ground without requiring planters or wheels; thus, it is the most economical and compact windbreak glass solution.

Manufactured with the assurance of EncoArt / RKC, this system is designed with four different mechanism options: manual piston (YBM), weight-balanced manual (YBA), motorized (YMO), and fixed glass (SSS). Thanks to the ability to open and close the panels, the area can be used completely open on nice days and completely closed on windy days.

How to Choose the Type of Glass?

Entry level 6/8 mm tempered glass, It offers sufficient strength for standard cafe and balcony applications. For hotel and restaurant projects requiring higher safety and sound insulation, 8 mm or 10 mm tempered glass is preferred; and for high-traffic areas where it should not shatter into pieces, 4.4 or 5.5 mm laminated tempered glass is used. All glass is tempered to ISO standards.
